This document describes information collected by the application and how users may control this collection.
Offtrack uses the Mapbox SDK to display and support interaction with its maps of the backcountry. By default, Mapbox collects anonymous telemetry data to improve Mapbox's maps as well as OpenStreetMap. More information is available from the link above, and in relevant parts of the Mapbox privacy policy.
In Offtrack, Mapbox telemetry collection can be disabled by tapping the ⓘ icon in the bottom right corner of the map, then deactivating the switch for Mapbox telemetry.
Purchases are recorded in order to enable purchased functionality and diagnose any related issues. When Offtrack support is contacted through the "Send your feedback" button, an identifier is included in the email which allows recorded purchases to be accessed.
